It is amazing how God opens doors, and it is our responsibility to take advantage of these opportunities. As the newest members of this exciting small group from Living Water Community Church, we have been thrown into the process of planning a life changing mission in the past few months. As a couple who recently celebrated our first year of marriage, we understand that the past year has been a whirlwind of changes and growth; all of which has been orchestrated by God. This mission trip to Hong Kong is simply another step in the process of spiritual maturity and devotion both individually and as a couple. Despite initial reservations about a mission trip to a foreign land, we do understand that this process of shaping our lives will take place as we answer God’s call to serve. We want to embody the vision of Liver Water Community Church:

“Real People, Living Relevant Lives, Relentlessly Pursuing New Life.”

Our prayer is to live relevantly, not only for our growth, but for the people of China. The need in China cannot be overstated as nearly 1 of every 5 people on Earth live in the nation; which means that God can and will change many lives through our work.

Thank you for your prayers and donations that help make this trip possible. However, please understand that we are only a small part of God’s greater plan. We have been blessed to be a part of our caring community and church, as well as have families that love us and support our mission. God’s love and grace is abundant in our lives and we wish to share this love.
