Mike and Robin McFarren We travelled to Hong Kong in the summer of 2008 as part of Living Water's "Outreach 2008." The primary reason we decided to take this trip was our desire to spend two weeks with Daisy and Wendell Martin. Little did we know what the experience would mean to us as individuals and as a couple.

To minister to people who you would never see on this side of Heaven was humbling. Coming to know the extent of the persecuted church in China and the overwhelming need for Bibles is something that is still hard for us to relate.

We knew that we would return someday (in fact, we have joked that we could live in Hong Kong), but did not realize that God would make a way for us to return with our Life Group. Even though it's nearly a year away, we are already excited to go.
